Just a week till im back in America with my Husband and my beautiful dogs. I can't wait to see them again. Hopefully the weather will be nice the weekend after i get back so we can go camping. I havent been camping since i was 6years old. We want to go camping at Land between the Lakes in Kentucky. There are so many fun things to do according to the website. Biking, Camping, Fishing, Hiking, Horse Riding, Hunting, Elk & Bison watching. I think its going to be a great experience =)
I am with you on this. I know what mean the last couple of days.
ReplyDeleteI Think this new blog is a great idea. Just had a look at the wedding pictures - will read more soon - they are lovely!
I'd be delighted to be a guest blogger and talk about my relationship. Would you like to draft a couple of questions that you think migt interest people and I would answer . Or would you like me to write as I feel it?
Here is my e-mail: viaudmarie@yahoo.fr. Feel free to drop me a line.
Happy to join you on this big adventure!
Look after yourself.
Pretty photo. Don't forget to go to the bookstores while you are home. xo
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to reading this blog.... I am a German Expat living in California with my American husband and I think I've had many of the same experiences that you had.... long distance relationship, immigration, etc.
ReplyDeleteI love LBL! I live right near there (well about 4 hours away, but in relation to how big America is, I live pretty close) I used to camp there every summer, except I camped at a Girl Scout camp on Ky Lake and I would sail or kayak over to LBL. By the way, that is what people call it for short... if you want to sound like a local haha (I'm sure they won't notice your accent). It is beautiful! Did you know that Ky Lake used to be a town and they flooded it, so when the water is low (don't count on it because of all this rain, though) you can still see the church steeple poking out above the water. Just a little history for ya.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I am your newest follower. It is neat to see America from a foreigner's eyes!
Hey!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't able to post in there.. but I really liked your post about the visa journey. I went through the same, also married a once american soldier (now veteran). I was wondering if you had posted about, or could post about, your first weeks in the USA. I am particularly wondering how you got life started, getting greencard, SS card, car, bank account, job, drivers license, etc! I'd be really helpful.
